The prerequisite for the ADVANCED course is the PADI OPEN WATER DIVER certification or equivalent.
The second-level or ADVANCED course qualifies divers up to a depth of 30 meters.
No previous sea diving experience is necessary to take this course, which is actually recommended immediately after the first level. It is designed to gain more experience in real diving situations under the guidance of an instructor.
The course consists of 5 sea dives from a boat. Each dive will be preceded by watching a video and a presentation by the instructor about the specific dive (recommended equipment, precautions, physiological reactions, use of instruments).
Each dive will focus on a specific theme, with two mandatory dives: natural navigation and compass use, and deep diving (30 meters). The other dives typically involve choices such as wreck diving, multilevel, search and recovery, naturalist, etc.
Before the sea diving experience, if the diver has not dived for a long time, a refresher in the pool on the techniques learned in the first-level course and a theoretical review of the first-level course are also planned.
The course involves 5 sea dives with corresponding briefings, and requires a certification as an
Open Water Diver, with a maximum depth of 30m (21m for divers under 15 years old).
