1. Can I go diving without a certification?

Can I go diving without a certification? Absolutely! If you’ve never dived before, you can join our Discover Scuba Diving or Intro Dive experiences. Designed for beginners,
these include a professional briefing, shallow water practice, and a guided dive to a maximum depth of 12 meters. It’s the perfect, safe way to experience your first underwater emotion.

2. What is the maximum depth for Discover Scuba Diving?

Safety and fun go hand-in-hand.
Our introductory experiences reach a maximum depth of 6 to 12 meters, depending on the specific program and your comfort level. You will always be under the direct supervision of a PADI expert.

3. Does Air Sub offer PADI courses in Villasimius?

Yes, we are a PADI authorized center with over 60 years of tradition. We offer the full range of courses: from Open Water Diver to Advanced, Rescue, and specialized specialties like Deep Diver or Nitrox.

4. Is equipment included in the price?

• Snorkeling & Open Water Course: Yes! Full high-quality equipment is included
in your package.
• Other Activities & Advanced Courses: Equipment is available for professional
rental at the shop.

5. What if I haven't dived in a long time?

If it has been more than 12 months since your last dive, we require a Check Dive. This quick refresher with an instructor helps you regain confidence with your gear and safety
procedures so you can enjoy the Marine Protected Area to the fullest.

6. Can I join a snorkeling tour if I have no experience?

Yes! Snorkeling is a relaxed and accessible experience perfect for everyone. We provide
all the gear and a professional guide to show you the hidden gems of the Capo
Carbonara Marine Protected Area.

7. How long do the tours last and where do we go?

Our sea experiences last approximately 3 to 5 hours. We take you to the most iconic spots, including Isola dei Cavoli, the underwater Madonna del Naufrago statue, and the turquoise waters of Spiaggia di Riso.

8. Do you offer Freediving courses and training?

Yes! Air Sub is the only center in the area specialized in Freediving. We offer official certification courses and dedicated training sessions for those who want to explore the ocean on a single breath in total silence and freedom.

9. What makes your boats special?

We are the only center in Villasimius that lets you choose your style of navigation.
• The 12m Motorboat: Perfect for families and relaxation, featuring a toilet on board, plenty of shade, and large sunbathing areas.
• The Professional RIB (Gommone): Ideal for those who want to reach the most remote dive sites in record time with agility and speed.

10. Are the diving groups large?

Never. We believe in quality over quantity. Dives are organized in small groups (maximum 6 divers per guide) and arranged by certification level to ensure a safer, more intimate, and better-organized experience.

11. Where is Air Sub Diving Center located?

You can find us at Via Roma 121, Villasimius. We are the strategic starting point for all scuba and sea adventures in the province of Cagliari and the Marine Protected Area.
